On Jan. 27, 2018, Lewis-Clark State College turned 125 years old. This date, which marked the official anniversary of Idaho Governor William J. McConnell authorizing the establishment of Lewiston State Normal School in 1893, kicked off a year-long celebration of LCSC's past, present, and future.
To honor the occasion and the impact the school has had on so many lives, Lewis-Clark State College is hosting a number of special commemorative events and will also expand and enhance annual events such as Homecoming and Commencement to match the grandeur of the occasion. All events are open to the public so please come celebrate with us!
Other ways to participate and enjoy the celebration of LCSC's rich history can be found on this website. We invite you to share a memory, explore LCSC's timeline, read about our history, and perhaps even donate toward our next 125 years of serving students.
A commemorative 125th logo, shown in the photo below, has been created. Info and usage guidelines for it can be found here: graphic identity guide (pdf).
